Join Father Seth and other Christ Episcopal Church parishioners for a pilgrimage, “Celtic Christianity in Scotland,” June 3rd through 13th. You will see the “bonny, bonny banks” of Loch Lomond as you make your way north to Celtic Scotland and the coast of Oban. Ferry to Lismore and explore 13th-century castles. Continue to Iona, the birthplace of Christianity in Scotland. Tour Glasgow. Visit the Church of St. Mungo, the coastal town of Whithorn, Candida Casa, and St. Ninian’s Cave. Tour Edinburgh and St. Andrews and learn about the lives of the Scottish Celtic Saints, and much more.

Some answers to your questions.
Q. Re Airline
We do not know which carrier yet.  Here’s what Mark at EO says “Not sure on the airlines yet.  While they are holding space on an airline, this often changes as we approach time to book, due to airlines changing routes and / or pricing.”
I’ll let the group know once that is determined.
Q. Re Group Size
I’m shooting for a group of between 20 minimum and 30 max. We will open the pilgrimage up to other Episcopalians in the diocese next month.  If you have a friend or family member who would like to join us, they are welcome to sign up.
Q. Re Customizing Individual Travel
After a person has registered for the trip, EO representative Damaris Monrial can assist in flight arrangements outside of the group booking.  Please plan on flying with the group outbound from NOLA to Scotland. Register on the website first, then contact Damaris if needed.
Q. Re Mobility
To avoid any frustration on the pilgrimage and to clarify expectations, we ask that travelers have the ability to walk 10,000+ intermittent steps per day (4-5+ miles) over uneven terrain, unaided, at a 3 mile per hour pace, ie. a 20-minute mile. EO asks travelers to agree to a “Fit to Travel” statement.
FIT TO Travel Statement:
Fr. Seth will host additional events, info meetings, etc as we get closer to departure.
