Dear Friends,
It is with great pleasure that I announce The Rev. Guimond Pierre Louis, aka “Fr. G,” has accepted my call to serve on staff as the Associate Rector here at Christ Church in Covington.

Fr. G is currently serving in the Diocese of Virginia and is a native of Haiti. He has particular experience with youth ministry, formation for all ages, and pastoral care. His start date here will be July 1st when we will look forward to giving Fr. G a warm Christ Church welcome!   Fr. Seth

My name is Guimond Pierre Louis and because I like nicknames, don’t hesitate to call me Fr. G. I grew up in the countryside of Haiti with two courageous farmers as parents and four siblings.

My journey as a student took me to Harford Seminary and Virginia Theological Seminary in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Since November 2020, I have served as assistant rector at St. Peter’s in the Woods in Fairfax Station, VA.

I am overjoyed and honored to have been called to serve Christ Episcopal Church as associate Rector. I am looking forward to serving God and growing in ministry with you. I am coming to Christ Church with a loving heart, a spirit ready to learn, and two listening ears. I am inspired by Fr. Seth’s ministry with you. I can’t wait to join him and journey with each and every one of you as we fulfill our baptismal covenant to represent Christ and His Church in the world and specifically in Covington.
