At Christ Church, all the Sunday services are Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion) services. The morning services take place in the large brick church building. The Sunday evening services are in the chapel, the smaller wooden church. The 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 services use the same (Rite 1) prayers. The other services use Rite 2, there is also music at the 9 am and 11 am services (or 10:00 am in summer.) There are Morning and Evening prayer services on weekdays as well as some Eucharist services. See the schedule of worship services for details. If you are not familiar with the Episcopal church, you may want to try all the variations until you find the one that suits you best. |
