Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 2Timothy 1:9 Christ Church Covington's St. Mary's Guild is for mothers who share the common belief that children flourish when God is present in their lives. What we learn we teach. What we live we teach. Join us for prayer, study, play and support. Monthly meetings are scheduled for the third Monday 10:00am to Noon and one evening a month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. In addition we have monthly activities. October 17th is a family cookout at the church; November 20th is a thanksgiving pray and play at Bogue Falaya Park and December 20th is the Christmas Play. Mission Beyond 2009
This summer, the Christ Church Youth were blessed
with the opportunity to serve at the two different locations of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and Cayey, Puerto Rico. In total, we had 26 participants take time out of their busy lives to be part of Mission Beyond 2009. |
